Out for a walk with their dog, Bella and her little brother Louie get the surprise of their lives when they stumble across a “mud monster” stuck in a ditch. When they realize it's no monster but a dog in distress, they bring it back to the Dream Dogs grooming parlor and discover what's under all that mud: a beautiful golden retriever. They name her Nugget, and although Bella puts up missing dog posters, no one claims her. To their delight, Nugget gives birth to a litter of puppies and Bella takes charge of finding homes for all of them. But when a shady character appears at the parlor claiming that Nugget and the puppies are his, will Bella be able to stop the cruel puppy-breeder from taking them away? |
